This sort of thing happens at least every few hundred years.
That's the end of this story. I'll probably visit this world again sometime to see what happens next, and explore some ancient history of this world.

Everyone likes Bad ass lizard ladies, right?
This is the first part of a basic weight gain sequence.
College for them is sort of like the Amish Rumspringa, when their teenagers leave the community for a time and their usual restrictions are relaxed. Many of them go overboard with the partying and substance abuse, conclude that the world is too evil and dangerous and return to their community.
I guess being a queen's pet isn't so bad.
