Big Update On Brock Lesnar - WWE

Several WWE sources are under the impression that Brock Lesnar and WWE have been in recent talks about a return to the company. WWE was said to have plans in order for Brock Lesnar, and hopes that he could return imminently if WWE has their way. As with anything, until it appears on screen, it's hardly ever a sure thing.
Last year when Brock Lesnar's merchandise were removed from WWE's store briefly, we were told neither side was particularly concerned about things, and the process was just "taking longer than usual to work together again." This is the longest absence Brock Lesnar has had from WWE since his 2012 return.
As mentioned in numerous reports, WWE is considered to be "all hands on deck" for Summerslam, and want to pull out a major card for the event.
Fightful has reached out to WWE officials but haven't heard back.
UPDATE: In speaking with additional WWE sources throughout the night, it was said to be a poorly kept secret that WWE hopes to have Lesnar back, but that those close to Lesnar don't believe any real contact or movement has been made in that direction. We'll keep inquiring about his status.
UPDATE 2x: In speaking with people in different departments of WWE, many have expected a Lesnar return, but have not been prepped to ready any promotional materials for said return.

Except Clint Eastwood isn't being booked to squash everyone against him in a wrestling match. The argument you're using works when people say wrestling is fake, not when a part-time wrestler takes the spotlight from someone more deserving for a spot on a Big 4 WWE PPV.
