Performance Center Name Backstage At WWE Smackdown Today

We aren't told the context in which she's there, just that she was seen at the Thunderdome Friday. WWE has been trying out Performance Center talent at television tapings in recent weeks. Aja Smith was signed by WWE in 2020 and became the first full-time African-American female referee in WWE history.

2021-07-02 20:11:43 +0000 UTCThat for some reason made me think of how someone(I forget who) said referees aren't allowed to stand out or have personalities in WWE(which I assume is due to guys like Nick Patrick and Earl Hebner having quite the adorations of fans), and I hope they let that happen again with Aja and the others.
