Moonshine

My favorite comic - and perhaps crime fiction - is 100 Bullets. The comic's five book run is one of the most intense, brutal, and tragically beautiful stories I've ever seen. I know that story will be recommended, either in video or Patreon form in the future, but for now, this is more relevant.

Moonshine a new comic with the exact duo behind 100 Bullets, and despite being 1 Volume in, it's already a top-notch story.

Whether you wait until the story is complete or jump in now, know that it's going to be one hell of a ride.

Endtroducing by DJ Shadow

I'm about as hip as the Queen. But as I - very - slowly mature, I've been appreciating the talent and sound of the best hip-hop artists. Run the Jewels, Eric B & Rakim, Public Enemy, etc. But if there's an album I keep revisiting, is one without a single lyric - well, at least one that isn't sampled - the 90's classic, Endtroducing.

While I've only gotten into hip-hop recently, sample-based music has been familiar to me due to the remix scene attached with internet culture. Endtroducing really paved the way for that, and created a sound that despite being from 96, hasn't aged a day.

This isn't an album you headbang and rock out to, it's one you can apply to almost any situation. Walking down the street, studying, or driving up ramps in Trackmania.

Spec Ops: The Line

As I'm dedicating a "Years Later" video to this game, it only makes sense for me to recommend it. Especially since Spec Ops is a game that I make an effort to not speak a word about to those who haven't experienced it.

That applies here to. I'm telling you, play this game, but I can't tell you why. All I'll mention is that if it's too boring for you at the start, keep going anyway. And you'll eventually see why Spec Ops is still talked about to this day, whether you love it or hate it.
