What is your stance on takedown animations? Some people, like Yahtzee, don't like them for supposedly ruining the flow of gameplay. Personally, I live for this shit, just the sight of those John Wick-style moves was enough to get excited about Watch Dogs Legion more than anything else.
I'm rather mixed on them. ID's DOOM games managed to incorporate them well, and I think it's because they're built into the game's flow. DOOM uses those very brief pauses in player input to build tension into the next piece of gameplay, that determines whether or not the resources gained from that glory-kill were worth it.
However, when it comes to say, Deus Ex: Human Revolution/Mankind Divided? I rather despise them. They take seconds to complete where a player would ordinarily just hit someone over the head with a club instantly.
Personally, I think more games in the future will get to a point where those John Wick moves are animated into regular gameplay, and in a sense, we kind of already do that with Arkham fighting style combat.

Do you have a favorite indie studio and if so what do you like about them and their games? Off the top of my head mine would be new blood and/or supergiant games.
Despite being a publisher, Devolver Digital very much carry that independent charm. Always straddling that line between poking the edges without being obnoxious, and releasing lots of interesting games.
In terms of developer though, Landfall comes to mind. All of their games are made of such similar components, yet create such different experiences that are all different flavors of fun.

Why does Max Verstappen suck?
Because he's physically forbidden from going beyond wherever Leclerc is.

How did you like the RTJ album?
Lots! You're likely to see it on my recommendations in the near-future. Don't think I like it more than RTJ2 or 3, but is yet another album for the duo to be proud of, and certainly relevant to the world's current state.

What is your favorite role from a video game actor in a non video game format?
Nathan Fillion is probably a cheap answer, but he's been in a enough video-games I think that could count. His character of Malcom Reynolds is likely to always be his best role, because unlike Buck or Castle, it isn't just Nathan Fillion. I always thought he would actually have made a really good Captain Walker, as he can play that intimidating, tormented leader whose pushed to a breaking point.
He's also probably the easiest answer because most actors known for games really get the shaft when it comes to live-action roles, mostly regulated to guest spots in one-episode or a background character like Hanzo's actor in the Death Note movie.
