Building on my last question, you said you don't play roguelikes for very long. Why is that and what would/does it take for one to get you invested?

I imagine the reason I don't get into Roguelikes for one is that the opening stages become a blur, as the design of Roguelikes forces them to be easy, and typically repeat the visuals. The joy of the genre is discovery, so when the first ten minutes are virtually guaranteed to stop surprising you, I feel less encouraged to start new runs to get to content that is new

Kinda becoming tradition with all of these music-based questions from me but let me ask this: After Hideo Kojima famously used their music in Death Stranding, what do you think of Low Roar's music? Favourite tune? Mine might be Patience.

"I'll Keep Coming" is magnificent. I'll give Kojima one thing, he's got good taste in music, and has introduced me to plenty of artists over the years. However, I've tried Low Roar's albums plenty of times and just can't seem to remember many of their tracks. "ross." is on my Spotify waiting to be heard, so we'll see how that new album goes.

What is your favorite game from a genre you don't normally play?

Synthetik! Okay, okay, I won't repeat that game yet again. I'm not a fan of RTSs, but I hold very fond memories of Dawn of War II & Command & Conquer 3, multiplayer sessions with friends on that one was always a good time. Darkest Dungeon was another one I enjoyed despite a common hatred for Turn-Based Combat.

Seeing as you have Hurry Up, We're Dreaming in your recommendations — have you ever watched/are you going to watch Mr. Robot?

Not yet, but it's been on my watch list for sometime, as I've heard opinions vary all over the place from 10/10 show to disappointed with X Season. I'm aware its the show that helped put Rami Malek on the map, and seeing as the only movie I've seen him in is Need for Speed, I look forward to seeing a good performance.

What is the coziest game in your opinion?

If you had to pick one thing above all else that makes combat in a game feel good (movement, sound design, weapon animation, impact, etc.) What would it be and why?
