The Pale Emperor by Marilyn Manson

Manson's been around longer than I've been alive, yet I could never sit down and listen to a record from start to finish. I always skipped ahead to individual songs like mOBSCENE, Sweet Dreams, or Beautiful People; and that edgy and abrasive material is a challenge to endure for almost an hour.

Pale Emperor has tracks like Deep Six which are the accessible, head-thrashing industrial rock Manson is known for, but they're beautifully laid out with a variety of songs that lead into one another so effectively.

Warship My Wreck has the epic quality of film scores meanwhile Devil Beneath My Feet is reminiscent of The Who or Pearl Jam, albeit with a harder sound. While I yet to re-listen to Manson's work from the 90's which put him on the map, I currently feel that Pale Emperor is by far his best work.

Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels by Guy Ritchie

Snatch was my Star Wars, as in, it's the film that opened my eyes to the magic of filmmaking beyond mindless entertainment. Seeing there was a real perfection and craft behind its creation.

Lock, Stock; Guy Ritchie's debut, is a film that's more minimal, but just as endlessly watchable and quotable.

What's extraordinary about Ritchie's first two films, is how it effortlessly handles such a wide-cast of characters with their own likability and charisma, where most films struggle to have viewers even care about the protagonist.

Whether this or Snatch is better is going to vary from person to person. But, Lock is one that I'd happily recommend to anybody.

Ironsight

As I'm writing about this game right now, I figured I might as well give a heads up. Especially as you may be asking "Raycevick, what the hell is wrong with you?"

I've had friends who for years just wanted a free to play Call of Duty game on PC. Something you can throw on for mindless nights filled with soundtracks and conversation.

That's what Ironsight is. It's an elegantly crafted shooter that is reminiscent of Call of Duty during its Multiplayer peak, with better maps, balance, and gameplay that's stronger than not only its competitors, but Call of Duty itself.

For those looking for a Multiplayer shooter that's fast and visceral but without stress, Ironsight has got you covered.

I really enjoy that Manson record.

Astral

Revolver's one of my most watched films. The UK version; the US cut is awful.

Lucas Raycevick

Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels by Guy Ritchie. A movie that I actually skipped back in the days, however when it was established that I absolutely love Guy Ritchie's movies, I wen't back to it... I did not disappoint. Now here's a question: Have you seen the Revolver?
