With the renaissance of licensed games in mind, what’s a property that you would like to see have a game tie-in?
Comics are ripe for potential, and we've gotten a couple really good ones. The Darkness, and The Wolf Among Us, to name just two. It's a cliche for those who've been following me for sometime, but a Black Lagoon game is something I'm dreamed about for years. Were I to lead, I'd develop it as my own personal Max Payne 3, because while I enjoy Rockstar's release, it's certainly not in keeping with series tradition, at least in regards to how it paces gameplay.

The challenge with a BL game though would be the player character. Obviously, you'd use Revy. The double-wielding psycho who borderline gets off on creating a slaughterhouse. Problem is, when BL was originally made, the author came up with the protagonist Rock, so he could be the every-man archetype for audiences to relate to in a world of mercenaries and criminals. For the game, you'd have to put Revy and Players on the same page. A challenge, but not insurmountable. We do play action-games for action after all, and Revy craves fights, so you could start there, and then break both character and player down as the story gets heavier in subject matter, and development.
Some down-to-earth Clancy games would also be nice...

Have you had a chance to check out Death Stranding yet and what are your thoughts?
Nope, but the PC release date just got announced. June 2nd; so I'll probably give it a chance then, and then the Whitelight video after.

With DOOM Eternal on the horizon, what are some complaints you had with 2016 that you want fixed in Eternal?
Weapon balancing's the main one. While I adore 2016's DOOM, there's no question the Upgraded Super Shotgun was broken as shit. Thankfully, ID's own Creative Director has acknowledged those issues, and is set to resolve them in the main-game.
Sadly, something it won't redeem is the Multiplayer. Battle Mode looks fun! Don't get me wrong, and I'll be curious to try it. But if any game stood a possible chance of making an Arena Shooter that isn't purely reserved for those still using CRT monitors, it would've been Eternal.

Are there any games you've played that use very unorthodox control schemes but feel that if they utilized a more conventional layout, it just wouldn't be the same?
It's hard to imagine MGS3 with a normal crouch function. However, I might have a bit of bias on this topic due recently booting up a large selection 6th Gen Console games, and really wishing for a better camera system.
Ninja Gaiden in particular's begging for a proper 3D Action Camera.
That's very much a part of the era though, due to Japan truthfully only getting used to standardized action gameplay controls in the last bunch of years. One of the developers on MGS4 described working on MGS4 for years and years, only to watch in horror at Tokyo Game Show as most attendee's couldn't navigate past the game's opening sequence, due to having a manual 3rd person camera.

What is your most hated game and what are the reasons you despise it?
Saints Row: The Third.
That game's to me, what Dragon Age 2, Halo 5, and Invisible War are for others. I utterly despise its changes to characters, style, and most importantly, sense of humor. Saints Row 2 felt like a witty game with a dark undertone which resonated in some truly profound scenes, meanwhile The Third feels like a Rice Gum or Jake Paul video.
One note, mean spirited, out of touch gags with all the eloquence of a homeless man belching.
Thankfully, Saints Row 4 came back with proper writing, improved gameplay, and a great sense of humor few games replicate. So while I may hate it while playing, The Third still doesn't bother me much.

Have you played Disco Elysium or are playing through it? If so what are your thoughts? I've been having an amazing experience with the game so far personally so I've been itching to know what you think.
Bought it during the sale! And I'm looking forward to trying it, especially after all the raving about its dialogue systems, and area in gaming that we haven't really advanced since the early 2000s.

Have you had the chance to play some vr and if so what do you think about it and it's games?
Silently, I bought an Oculus Rift after my Andromeda video, and immediately saw the potential. So much so that when Valve finally allowed shipping in Canada, I sold the Rift for an Index.
Due to rearranging my entire room though, I haven't setup the lighthouses fully yet to get back into them. I better change that come March 20th...

How do you feel about the Ace Combat games?
Only played Assault Horizon which from my understanding, doesn't count. Once I see Ace Combat 7 on sale for a decent price, I'll finally give this long running franchise a fair shake.
Holy Shift, I'll answer your question next time, as it is in-depth, and I'm juggling a few too many plates at this moment of writing. But seriously, thank you all for the influx of questions, and just leaving a thank you for the Patreon's activity. It truly is heart warming to see, and I don't take your generosity lightly.
As always...
