What are your "prized possessions"?

Master Chief.

Funny story, I used to live on an Island and due to a chaotic situation, had to many things in story, one of which included Mr. Chief. Luckily, a couple months later when Mom and I moved back into Vancouver, friends went back to the Island's storage unit and took out most of our things.

Except the stand for Master Chief...

So, to avoid it being thrown into the garbage pile by the owner, I went back to the Island simply so Master Chief could stand on that speaker.

Honestly, it's kinda worth it, or else it would've really would've been the most nerdy/ expensive trash can.

What is your favorite example of bad video game voice acting?

If we're talking truly awful, I do personally poke fun at Nolan North's Penguin quite a bit. Why Rocksteady, a British company, couldn't just hire someone off the street for an accent? Who knows...

In terms of entertainingly bad, Resident Evil 6's "How could my family abandon me" (that's in my best bad games video) kills me.

What is your opinion on games like Risk of Rain 2? Do you find the gameplay loop rewarding/satisfying or more so akin to a big flashy time waster?

I can respect what Risk of Rain 2 does extremely well. It's adapted itself rather seamlessly into 3D where many 2D to 3D transitions fail. But as been established, looters & roguelikes are something I seem to enjoy the concept of alot more than the execution. So Risk of Rain 2, while fun, didn't hold my interest for long.

Say you want to introduce someone to videogames in general, be it as a pastime or an art form, where would you start?

If someone came up to you and said they'd never played a video game before, what would you have them play as their first ever game and why?

Portal.

Relatively easy, funny, short, and gets you familiar with physics and movement that'll serve someone well should they continue to play more games.

What do you know about the Yakuza series and if you do know something, what do you think of it?

I know that it's depiction of Japan is actually quite accurate.

And that 0 really gave the series a boost in discussion online. Kinda like how DMC5 and the new Animal Crossing seemed to generate their a cult status online, of people who grew up with the series now being active on social media and spreading the word.

I'm certainly curious to try 0, I've got a copy waiting on PC.

What do you think of remasters of older games that add more content to the original package? More like a redux of a game, i cant think of any real examples, but with talk of a mass effect trilogy remaster, do you think it would enhance the package to add things like cut content or even new content and build on what came out long ago, rather than just re-release a 10 year old game with a new paintjob?

Personally, I'm open to extra content being added, as long as the option of a totally original experience is available. The Ninja Gaiden series is rather notorious for this, as it has Sigma variants of each game that both add and remove features and naturally, make some strides while taking backsteps in others.

I know Nick Robinson already did it but...have you ever played Driver San Francisco? I can see you enjoy racing games after your video with NFS Heat. And Driver SF just feels amazing to play, plus the huge amount of innovative ideas that go into some of the wackier levels are really original

How are you enjoying DOOM Eternal so far?
