Opinion on present day Rockstar Games?

Difficult to answer as I've yet to play Red Dead Redemption 2, and that's really the only big game present day Rockstar has released. Though, I guess that's telling of how the company's changed, compared to when they used to release multiple games every year.

Rockstar are a company you can never criticize technically. The manner in which they construct their worlds and the sheer detail is always astounding. However, I found Grand Theft Auto V to be a game that devalues itself in its writing, constantly building up points, tension, and character, only to backpedal from any heartfelt moment on-screen in the name of bad punchlines.

That is however, where I've heard Red Dead Redemption 2 is a far stronger game, so I'm definitely curious to try it.

What is your experience with Nintendo, if any?

Mostly positive. My fondness memories are with the Gamecube. I happened to get one when many of my friends happened to be over, and the amount of hours we spent playing Mario Kart: Double Dash and StarFox Adventures is embarrassing.

I've been criticial of them for years in-terms of hardware though. I've never bought their shortages as legitimist, and the constant minor-hardware revisions you get the sense could've been packed in from day-one often make me stay clear of purchasing their systems.

I'd also be lying if their lack of franchises on display hasn't also discouraged me. I like Mario, I've been meaning to play Zelda for years, and Smash Bros is fun, but there's gotta be more going on in somebody's first party line up than names that are 20+ years old.

But I do enjoy their polish, lack of canon, and unique gimmicks, hence why I'm mostly positive.

Did you ever play Titles from the Geoff Crammond Formula 1 Grand Prix series on pc and if so, what is your opinion on them?

I tried to get Grand Prix 4 up and running two years ago with no luck, and I've heard anybody with a complex setups been unable to get it working too, which is a shame, because the games were way ahead of the curve.

What makes a good trailer for Youtube ads specifically?

The Masterclass Advertisements I think were a good template. They got people with an initial line, rather than a stupid five second rapid-fire trailer playing before the actual one, and they compelled people with interesting propositions rather than lame ass "Watch Fortnite highlights" or paid actors telling you how much they love Grammarly.
