Have you ever had a developer or someone related to a game's development contact you after a video has gone up to give you more information or rectify some details?

Yup! It's not happened a lot, but a couple of times with the Years Later videos, and its always awesome when it does. I've long since believed that developers are their own worst critics, and as long as you're not being insulting, or just flat out inaccurate, there's nothing you could say that's worse criticism than what they've already thought, and persona experiences talking to them have confirmed this.

Are there any games you've played in the last year due to covid that you wouldn't have had time to play otherwise? What did you think of them?

I'm probably one of the few people whose life was impacted very little by COVID due to how videos are made. So there's not a particular game I had time which I previously didn't. Ironically, I have to spend so much time on videos, there's often games I desperately want to play but don't have the time for.

What do you think the AAA side of the industry could learn from indies?

Distribution of resources. I was just watching a friend play COD: WWII last night, and I couldn't help but be irritated by how many artists, animators, and programmers it'd take to make the clocktower sequence, all for something that's one minute and completely stupid. Indies may often be repetitive, but usually the best if they've got a unique playstyle or mechanic, they use it to the fullest extent.

What is the most amusing gaming-related discussion/argument you have witnessed?

Miranda's ass was pretty funny this year. The sim-racing community gets into all sorts of utterly daft arguments. I find most of them though start off as entertaining, that then just fall into depressing. Andromeda & Cyberpunk both start out as really entertaining bug compilations, then developers get harassed, and angry threads go on for weeks, and the fun starts to fade.

Has there been any particular controversy where it's severe enough to affect how you enjoy watching a Youtube personality?
