Raycevick's Recommendations: A Knights Tale
Added 2021-06-07 13:00:07 +0000 UTCI've just come off of watching Legend, the duo Biopic where the duo's soloed by Tom Hardy and it's... mixed. There's some good scenes in there, but there's also a lot of tedious pacing, weak themes, and (I don't say this often) pretentious writing.
It's honestly kind of interesting how a big budget, highly ambitious multi year epic gangster film is less entertaining than this ancient cheese fest known as A Knights Tale but it honestly is, and it's mostly down to the charismatic cast.
Made up of actors from Breaking Bad, Age of Ultron, Firefly, and most obviously with its lead actor, The Dark Knight, they all manage to carry a story you've seen before but make it fun and endearing.

Oh wow I remember seeing this one back in the day, not a clue what kind of movie it was (except "something medieval")... and then Queen started playing 🤣 Was happy to find it on Netflix here, so I just finished watching it for the second time ever! Thanks for the tip :)
