Update (Videos for the Future)

Greetings everyone,

I'm typing for I cannot speak at this exact moment, not into a microphone at least. It seems my cable for this thing has met its end, so while waiting for a replacement cable and temporary microphone that's hopefully not overtly different, I'll be laying out the current scripts I've got cooking up.

Don't know what happened after Alpha Protocol, but writing seems to have come rather easily, which is good, because staring at a blank screen is hardly inspiring. Most of these, I just have outlines and/or opening paragraphs, though the next video has already been read by Tier 2 members via Randomly Mine.

How Much Does Multiplayer Population Matter?
Script's completed for this one and I've recorded a good chunk of footage. Was planning to finalize and record Tuesday, but unfortunately, that's when the cable died. I think the reason this script was written so quickly, is because it's a topic I've thought about for some time.

Military Shooters Before Modern Warfare
This idea came to mind after completing Shadow Ops Red Mercury, and the hilarity which stemmed from that gloriously goofy experience. The basic premise is simple, skimming through various Military shooters before COD4 to see the sub-genre before it became radically popularized.

Reviewing Every Codemasters F1 Game
Self explanatory. With Codemasters having handled the series for ten years, it only makes sense to comb through this franchise. The challenge of the review the script acknowledges is trying to make an annual franchise seem interesting is tough, but, I like challenges.

Hot Wheels: A Gaming Overview
Like many children, I drained much of my family's wallet on a certain toy car manufacture. Yet, I had never played a single official Hot Wheels video game, other than the expansion pack to Forza Horizon 3, this video will over correct that to a concerning degree.

Mass Effect 1's Combat Re-Examined
Like everybody, I played Mass Effect 1 the least in Bioware's trilogy because of its stiff, early 2000's jank RPG combat. Yet, since then, it's quickly become the game I keep enjoying more in a series where that normally declines with each playthrough, and that might because of the combat...

That last script is the one that's the least developed, as I've yet to replay Mass Effect 1 fully and test the theory, but it's an idea I'm certainly interested in exploring.

Finally, I have played Jet Set Radio over ReDream emulation, and I couldn't really get into it because of input delay and imprecise control. Knowing this could be due to flawed emulation however, I intend to further experiment both the original game and its sequel to see if I can complete the circle, and actually deliver a Jet Set video in 2020. However, if it ends up just not being for me, I'm not going to force a video out.

We'll play it by ear.

As always, feel free to share any thoughts on the ideas and your own.

Best wishes,
Raycevick

Why not get jet set radio on the pc?

When it comes to the original JSR, you can still get the HD version on xbox 360. Plus it's backwards compatible on Xbone so you can still get it pretty cheaply at HD and without the input delay. JSRF though is another story...
