I'm a sucker for time-travel.
Yes, it's rare the stories make sense when you break it down, and when they do, require four days of rest from the exhaustion of it all, but that's part of the fun! And the idea of being able to redo your actions, stirs our curiosity in a manner that only questions of justice, love, and death can rival.
Steins;gate is probably one of the most compelling shows I've seen on the subject, having binged every episode and the film in 2-3 days.
What's surprising is its tone, which for six episodes, despite featuring deaths, mystery, and the ethical questions of time-travel, are actually structured more like a banter-based comedy, and a good one! Setting you up for the emotional gut punches taking place later.
The occasional speed-bump such as two characters going on a date in the midst of its chaos isn't enough to stop me recommending this show, especially to those who are fascinated by time-travel, as (if you can suspend your disbelief about a Microwave) it features a unique angle of time-travel that hasn't been explored much.
