Status Report - December 29th, 2020

Hey everybody!

We're approaching the new year and while cliché to say, it has been a tough one. I've come from it not knowing exactly what the future will entail for the channel, but I have various goals, specifically more structure and more Years Later videos, the next of which is being made right now.

I've completed the game already and are currently on course to do another playthrough, as well as begin the research process. Writing's only barely started however, I spent the Christmas week with family, absorbing lots of Turkey and Cheesecake. The week before was binging Cyberpunk, which was on course to lead to a video, but I held off after seeing how vitriolic the discourse became.

One thing's for certain though, I'm definitely interested in exploring that game in the future, unlike Witcher 3, where I'm still hesitant. I've also done my yearly tradition of filling up the notebook with ideas when I start thinking I don't have anymore, and rest assured, there's lots and lots to still discuss.

Didn't want to end the year on silence, so that's the state of everything right now.

It's hard to express my gratitude to everyone of you who donated this year, especially through a text document, but truthfully, thank you. It's because of you guys that I feel I can express myself freely, regardless of whatever the YT algorithm does for my content. I'm not here for fame, riches, or glory, I just wanna talk about games, and the hundreds of you assure that to be possible.
