I know you have a Cyberpunk Script in the works, but I'll ask this anyways. Do you think you experience with a game as buggy as Alpha Protocol influenced the way you look at CP2077?

Absolutely. Mass Effect Andromeda also influenced things. These were also cases of games being absolutely busted on launch, but more in ways that entertained me than took away from the overall experience. I also was doubting Cyberpunk from the moment it aired that gameplay demo, and didn't follow any of the marketing after that (aside from the next E3 cinematic trailer).

Will you be doing a "years later" or some other video on Metro Exodus in the near future?

Definitely. I've wanted to make a Years Later on Exodus for sometime, but was just waiting for a computer upgrade to record the game at settings higher than low. Now I've got that, so either next YL or the one after.

What game mechanics would you like to see explored more in games?

Both Hotswapping and combat multiplier from Battlefield 2 Modern Combat. The former is such a good mechanic for the series that could define it with some refinements, and the latter, while making no sense in a Battlefield game, would be amazing in a Max Payne style shooter.

An adrenaline based combat system where you're at your strongest while under the most pressure has so much potential, and I wanna work on a game that pushes the concept.

What game do you feel is horribly underrated?

Saints Row IV is too often written off as "that Superhero game." Genuinely great writing, characters, and variety of events makes it one of the best in the series next to SR2.

Whats your favorite "year of gaming".

It's an absolute cliche, but 2007 is very hard to beat, and I didn't grow up with PC's golden-age in the 90's. It was not only the year for great games, but great experiences with people I've known to this day over Xbox Live and Split Screen.

Outside of Mass Effect, what other universes/lore do you want to see more of?

Ghost in the Shell has deserved a great game in that franchise.  However, I actually really loved The Outer Worlds' universe, and would want to one day pitch Obsidian "You did Fallout Meets Firefly. So how about a new game that's Fallout Meets Cowboy Bebop?"

Like Mass Effect, that universe has lots of room for different types of stories and gameplay. I also recently purchased "The World of Cyberpunk 2077" so needless to say, I quite enjoyed that game's world as well, and would love to see more of it in the future.

What's your thoughts on the Resistance series?

Unfortunately mantled with the pressure of being the only PS3 game worth picking up at launch. I've got memories of its sequels Multiplayer, but that was more for the novelty of its larger player count in a pre-Planetside 2 world.

I've been meaning to play the third game for years though, as I constantly hear its simultaneously the best, and very much like its own Half Life tribute. If there's anything I don't mind being copied, it would be Half Life.
