Who would've thought.

A Jason Statham action-movie with Guy Richie at the helm, the man who made Jason's career, is a more interesting Jason Statham film!

Whoa!

Alright, sarcasm aside, I was pleasnetly surprised with this film. It's fascinating to see much of the cast and crew return from Richie's The Gentlemen to make a completely different film in pacing, style, and tone, but it's very welcome.

Though, don't go in especting Jason to spin kick people in the first 10 minutes.

This film takes it's time in atmosphere, setup, and drama, but with some fantastic pay off, featuring a backwards heist scene that I found enthralling from start to finish.

While I do prefer The Gentlemen as it's not only more fun, but a more tightly paced film, Wrath of Man's issues aren't significan't enough to stop me enjoying it, and excited to see what's next in store for both actor and director.
