Pledge Manipulation - Solution
Added 2015-06-06 20:29:10 +0000 UTCAfter receiving good constructive feedback from fans and supporters, I've decided how to keep the value of the $1 pledge tier amid pledge manipulation. I want to thank everyone who replied for their input.
What I'm going to do is maintain things as they are, but hold a few images and sketches in "reserve" until the end of pledge processing, then release them as links to all pledgers at $1+ as weblinks in their Patreon inbox. It's the same way I release comics to the $6+ pledge tiers. While I'm sure there will still be images taken and circulated, at least this is a measure whereby those who actually are contributing money will get a bit more than those who are simply gaming the system.
The result is that nobody in the $1 tier will be getting any less than they already do, now.
