2022-03-01 06:29:11 +0000 UTCOh man, Brazil (1985) is definitely a must watch! It has a lot of similar satirical humour in a dystopian future setting. It's directed by Terry Gilliam who directed Holy Grail, and stars Jonathan Pryce (High Sparrow in Game of Thrones) and Robert de Niro! One of my favorite movies of all time for sure :)

2022-02-13 02:15:43 +0000 UTCI didn’t end up pursuing it all the way, but was once on the pre-med path, and had taken Latin since all of med-speak is basically Latin. My friends and I DIED the first time we watched the Latin Declination at sword point—it was like a miniature PTSD moment for we who had spent hours trying to match up the genders and cases of the various words and put them into intelligible sentences. I’m glad you guys liked this one. It’s not really a video suitable for a reaction (at least probably not) but you ought to check out John Cleese’s eulogy for Graham Chapman, you can find it on YouTube.

Some town in the UK named Aberystwyth somewhat recently lifted their ban in 2009. Of course the banning just gave it more publicity. 😁
