One great Robin Williams movie that I rarely hear people talk about, possibly my favorite performance from him, is Moscow on the Hudson.
On the other end of the spectrum, one of the funniest but *incredibly* outrageous comedies he did is a pitch-black comedy called World's Greatest Dad.

Especially as they've already seen Jackie Brown...

I think I was too young for this when it came out. I didn't think much of it, but looking at it now it's obviously really good

Also, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon were pretty established but this is just the movie that launched them into the stratosphere and made them A-listers - they won the Oscar for this screenplay - but fun fact the original draft of this script had Matt Damon joining the NSA and stopping a plot to destroy the world, and then William Goldman (Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Princes Bride, All the President's Men, Misery) convinced them to drop that ending and to just focus on the personal relationships. Also Mel Gibson was originally going to direct but left for creative differences. And Matt Damon and Minnie Driver dated and then he unceremoniously broke up with her on Oprah without telling her first. Ah, the folly of youth. Aight, that's all the trivia I got.

Essential Robin Williams aside from this and Good Morning Vietnam:
DEAD POETS SOCIETY

THE FISHER KING

Awesome reaction! Another great movie with outstanding romantic chemistry is Out of Sight with George Clooney and Jennifer Lopez. I highly recommend it.

Dead Poets Society⦠I had cried from movies before, but I think that was the first movie to leave me weeping in a pool of my own tears.

I would say the Before trilogy ("Before Sunrise", "Before Sunset", "Before Midnight") does romantic banter perfectly.

That was fantastic. Can anybody name a movie that does friendly and romantic banter better than this one (or even close to this one?) If so, I'd love to watch it! ;)
Thinking about Robin Williams, you guys NEED to react to Dead Poet's Society (1989). That film and this film had a PROFOUND impact on me when I was younger. To me, they are shining examples of why films are made. Period.
Sean telling Will that it's not his fault brings me to tears every fucking time. I've seen this movie, what, like 30 times? Every. Fucking. Time.
I'm so happy you guys watched this. That was great!
edit: Fun fact. If you watch the scene where Sean is telling Will the story about his wife farting in her sleep you'll notice that the camera is shaking ever so slightly. That's because the dialogue was improvised and the camera guy was legitimately laughing at Robin Williams' performance. God damn, I love this fucking movie.
