It's those kinds of offhand comments that make this series so special. And an aside here...I like that Sam mentioned how much of a badass Lou was when talking to Dodd...didn't even blink...which you sorta got a preview of when Lou dealt with Malvo. Love this series and love this reaction channel.

I mean, Rye just got done killing four people, the police would have easily believed Rye just wasn't paying attention and ran in front of Peggy. It's not like the police would have looked into the accident any further.
