I’m running inexcusably far behind, and you guys are still doing a great job with this series.

yeah I caught that....like somehow the "kid" having an old fashioned doughnut is unmanly or something? It's those kinds of offhand comments that make this series so special. And an aside here...I like that Sam mentioned how much of a badass Lou was when talking to Dodd...didn't even blink...which you sorta got a preview of when Lou dealt with Malvo. Love this series and love this reaction channel.

Dodd's reaction is perfect in that scene. "Really? An old fash...?"

The song that plays over the ending credits of the episode (Down in the Willow Garden) is the same song Holly Hunter sings to the baby in Raising Arizona. I never noticed this little detail until I watched your reaction to that movie a few months ago.

I really dislike Peggy, she is so selfish! everything's with her is about what she wants! she hits somebody, then wants to use that event to go to CA, she blows their $, so he cant buy the shop, so they have to go to CA. its all her just manipulating events to get what she wants-- to move to CA and having no kids!

Yes! Such a terrible decision and it just escalated so quickly after that initial mistake of leaving the scene :(

The horrible irony of it all is that if Peggy just would have went straight to the police the consequences would have been minimal. I mean, Rye just got done killing four people, the police would have easily believed Rye just wasn't paying attention and ran in front of Peggy. It's not like the police would have looked into the accident any further.

The final scene of Lou standing watch outside his house was the payoff to the scene in Season 1 where old Lou told his granddaughter on her porch that he had stood guard overnight like that one time earlier in 1979 while waiting to see if trouble was coming.
