Definitely recommend Training Day from 2001.

I did! Thank you for reacting to this! Now I'm just waiting for "Training Day" and when you guys react to that. Probably my favorite Denzel movie besides "Remember the Titans". Haha.

Lots of good Denzel recommendations already, but two I'd add are "The Magnificent Seven" 2016 remake and the Coen Bros "Tragedy of Macbeth" on Apple+.

Seconded. Honestly you could name any Denzel film and I'd agree.

Despite the middling reviews, I liked 3 a lot more than 2, which had such a weak villain imo (no disrespect to Pedro Pascal, he's awesome). Loved seeing Dakota and Denzel reunited, albeit briefly.

ahhh yes so excited you guys are on this now. Random recommendation but after Reacher or if its possible another fantastic action drama you guys should watch is " Mayor of KIngstown" Its stars Jeremny Renner and is a totally awesome bad ass show plus its only 2 seasons in so it can be a short watch until next year for season 3.. Okay Im done!! lol

I recommend "Philadelphia" from 1993, "The Bone Collector" from 1999 and "Training Day" from 2001 and "Fences" from 2016 ...

Denzel is the best, may I also suggest the movie "Flight" with Denzel.... and keep your seat belt fastened. ; )

That little black book is most likely digital and updated by now. The black book he handed her is probably just sentimental for being the original that he may have started in the 1980's.

Fun Godfather references. I don't know if I caught them all. Hand pinned with a knife. Classic garrotte killing. Blood on silk sheets.

Love this movie, despite being a loner by choice over the years he was obviously looking for a sense of family and community, and peace and he found it at last. Woe betide any thugs seeking to ruin that.

This is nice to see after watching WWE SmackDown. XD
Haven't seen the movie yet, so this is a first time for me, too. Let's GO!

Watching this again, I wonder if that ending of giving her his little black book, is maybe their way of retiring him. I hope not, because I am really liking the character, and I love Denzel.

He said God puts you where you are suppose to be, so the gunshot in the back was possibly God's way of doing that.
