Ah that makes sense! I love that they're covering a few things that aren't usually covered! So much more left they could go anywhere with the series!

Great reaction, guys. Yes this was a little more about the “the home front” in Britain, and the resistance in Belgium. People in Belgium speak French and/or Flemish.
I’m enjoying the downed airmen (it was Bailey who answered the Babe Ruth question correctly) as this is an important aspect of the war that’s rarely addressed in film despite there being many history books and novels about it.
I don’t believe Buck is dead. Maybe he parachuted out and is a POW. I saw POW footage in the intro - lots of snow. Wonder when we will see the Tuskegee airmen? will

Really don't think there was much to go off of. lol Having served in the US military we often write the date as the rest of the world does, with the day first, month second, year last, just like we write the time like most the world does as well. Even to this day I still use those formats as it makes more sense than what we grew up with here in the States. Then again, idk when the US military made a switch to a universal date format compared to the imperial format that most Americans still grow up with today. As for the national anthem, the vast majority of Americans, including servicemembers, don't know all the words or the exact wording, as was shown in that scene with the pilot who started humming instead of singing. lol I'm sure there were plenty of people on both sides at that time who were killed "just in case" with very little evidence and no solid way of looking into people's backgrounds due to limited technology at the time.

Regarding the infiltrator, the date was one thing. He also got the third line of the national anthem wrong as “Just so proudly we hailed” instead of “What so proudly we hailed”.
