Comics: Serious or Smutty?
Added 2023-09-25 11:42:20 +0000 UTCI have been working on the System Daemons comic in the past two years and whilst I'm very pleased with how it's turning out, it has a more serious tone at the moment and it would take a while to get to the smutty bits.
As a creator, I imagine that my audience would prefer if I'd stick to the themes they've found me at - which is probably smut, and hence I was contemplating if I should take a 'small' break from the main story, and focus on something more adult oriented.
My question to you is:
1) Shall I stick with System Daemons and continue that or
2) Shall I take a break from System Daemons and make a smaller format smutty comics?
The smutty comics would feature my OCs in various places and iterations, and whilst being part of the SD universe, they may not follow it's timeline or events.
As patreon is my main source of income and I'm not quite at the milestone where I could just take a week each to draw these side by side, I have to choose one for now and spend the rest of the month to work on commissions to have enough to cover my bills.
I would super appreciate every vote cast, and in this time, there can only be one. Growing my audience with the current state of the internet is really challenging and I certainly would like to get feedback of what people prefer me to do.
