Where I've been

Hey guys! Thanks for sticking with me the past couple of weeks, I've been inactive because I had 2 competitions (Snoco and US Nationals), and I had to travel a lot which I don't do often. I should have been home 12 hours ago but I messed up a flight booking and had to do nothing in the airport for the whole day :(
Nationals was an extraordinary experience. This competition's routine of wake up + cube + sleep, then do it all again tomorrow, was my first time experiencing that sort of flow for cubing. What made it even better was the fact that I got to meet so many of my cubing idols; YouTubers and also world class cubers.
There were way more people than usual coming up to me to say hello, and that was incredible. Even people who I didn't expect to watch my videos said some great things, and I feel like I made a lot of great connections meeting everyone in person.
On the third day, for the first time, I was legitimately saddened by the thought of a competition ending. The thought kind of hung over my head the whole day. I really wished I just could stay and keep cubing with everyone, but life goes on.
At most competitions, I think about getting good results. At nationals I also wanted good results, but more than usual I wanted to meet people and take it easy because so many people were there. I think that's why I really didn't want it to be over, not because of cubing, but because of the community; the experiences and bonds we share, and what I can do to give back.
Right now I'm really tired and I have work tomorrow. Probably due to traveling and sleeping less and trying to practice despite that, I hadn't been feeling as motivated lately to edit videos. I'm motivated again now, and thank you to everyone who has stuck by me. Love you all <3
