It's going to take a long time, sadly

Hey, I am feeling a bit down lately due to health issues and I want you to be aware that this project will continue to be extremely slow paced.

I don't condemn you should you decide to stop backing the project, in some way it might even give me relief.

I am not giving up, just waiting for circumstances to become more favorable. I was too tired during Easter and the current weekend to get much done.

After all, I have been working on this since more than a year obsessively, often lying in bed unable to sleep and contemplating about what to work on next, how to implement a certain feature and what to research etc.

I think I want this to be successful so bad that it hurts me.

It's just gonna take a LOT of time, there is no way around it.

I plan to take some time off from my main work soon to focus on overhauling the sequencer. NOT giving up.

Thanks for taking interest in Noise Commander in the first place, even if it was just temporarily, it's a form of validation that I will carry with me forever, I see it as a gift.

Thanks for jumping in and being there for me, your response is very much appreciated. I am happy for you about the job offer, I wish you best of luck and joy with it! My PC shut down in the middle of writing my first answer and the text was lost. I meant to say that I re-recorded the whole thing, it wasn't a voice over :)

Health is first and foremost. Your progress so far has been incredible to watch. If there is one thing I have learned as an adult it is that things take more work than we can imagine. Time, effort, pain, and stress are all part of the work. I will remain a patron for now and hope that you do not feel pressure, but only relief that I will continue to support you as much as possible, and if that means being patient I have oodles and oodles of patience. In fact, I have been unemployed since mid December and have just recently been offered a full time position. I plan to contribute a bit more to your project when the checks start rolling in. I really hope that this tells you that I will be a fan of your work no matter the rate of progress. Really enjoyed the latest midi controller video a lot. I shed a tear when you explained the mic was not on. But the voice over was so good that I would have never noticed if you hadn't mentioned it. Rest easy. I know there are good days ahead for us. Take as much time to focus on recovery and recuperation as you need, and then take more just to be sure.
