Some would make sense with a certain male character being in the animation based on the original source material, and others would not. An example of this dynamic would be comparing Sakura Motou from Fate/Stay Night (who would be with Shirou Emiya) to Shadowheart from Baldur's Gate 3. In the end, I think the decision should be yours; if you want to do the extra work at animating a full body male character along with the themed character or not. Thank your for asking us for our opinions though.
