I started really playing with gender and gaining confidence through LARP/the renfaire and cosplaying at cons. Something about it being a costume and a character made it a lot safe. Annnnd the clothes were always super duper fun. One of the scariest but also all around best experiences was the first time I went swimming presenting as a woman. My friend had bought me a bathing suit with a best built in as a Christmas gift. So caps about bathing suits or going to the beach always hit for me. I also think caps about dancing are always great. The gender binary seems so rigid in dance. Men wear these costumes while women wear these ones. The man leads while this role is only for women. Throwing that binary out through a caption is always a ton of fun. Plus who doesn’t love fancy dresses or tutus? Dance clothes whether it be a prom, a workout dance, or a ballet are always great.
