It was kind of an accident - I needed some money and a friend of mine who wanted to play the games bought it all off me for waaaay less than it was worth - with the proviso that I could buy them back when I had more cash... in my mind it was like him lending me money and using them as collateral. Trouble is, when I went to buy them back he'd already sold them to someone else - he said he misunderstood and didn't remember that I wanted to buy them back. Still pissed off about it to this day lol, I'd built up a collection from ebay over about 3 years in the early 2000s, including lots and lots of importing. Pretty much complete collection of all games in their boxes/polys and multiple consoles, cases, tv connection unit etc. At some point I'll start rebuying stuff on ebay, but they are even harder to come by nowadays :(

Considering the amount of subscribers you have, the amount of views per video, and the high quality of your output, I really think if you made your Patreon link a bit more visible, you'd get more people join up. At the very least you should put the link in the first 3 lines of the description for each video, so people will see it without having to click "show more". Buying all those rare handhelds is not cheap (I know - I used to have probably the biggest Supervission collection in the world, before I sadly sold it!) but you're doing a great job documenting them for the world :)
