Also I believe there is a Major rank that is one rank senior to that of a captain. Which is why the guy running the Viper take off area becomes second in command to Colonel Saul Tigh when Adama was shot.

2018-12-11 03:47:58 +0000 UTCYeah you are exactly right. The way they portray the Cylons starts rather black and white but gets more and more complex as the show goes on. This is one of the things the show does best in my opinion, you are always learning new things about the Cylons and those new things change how you view them, both for better and worse.

2018-12-11 01:14:42 +0000 UTCFor Jimmy's question about rank- Adama is at the top (Admiral) The pegasus commander is 2nd (commander) Tigh and the pegasus XO are 3rd (colonel) Lee and the pegasus CAG are 4th (as captain) starbuck and some others are captains too but lee is higher most of the bridge officers and pilots (lieutenants) tyrol (chief petty officer) then everyone else is scattered below them

2018-12-10 04:34:03 +0000 UTCAborting Sharon's baby was one of those Roslyn decisions I definitely did not agree with. No matter how you view the Cylons, the baby is innocent. Unless it was radioactive it posed no immediate threat to the fleet. I think Roslyn was trying to make a final tough call before she died in order to save everyone, but her reasoning was clearly compromised.

And regarding the timing of ordering the pregnancy terminated, I just saw that as Roslyn displaying the same gangsta Ruthlessness a fuck-ton of rulers throughout history has practiced when they know they're at death's door - wrapping up loose ends while they still can.
