Well, you may not have broken, but I did while watching your reaction. Damn good story telling and amazing acting by Peter Weller. The same "fate wants the results it had" thing is also done in the Final Destination stories, but not well. Also, the time travelling hero/villain is done in Heroes the series, which you should react to the first season of if you haven't seen it yet.

2018-12-15 20:11:06 +0000 UTCTo address the last comment you made - I think it was pretty obvious Peck ultimately decided that Walter was right and that saving his fiancée was not the right thing to do. He got there on time, he knew exact minute his fiancée was going to die, he knew exact circumstances of how she was going to die. He had time to save her and he could have saved her, but decided to die by her side. It's a beautiful ending.
