Agreed on all points. First time I saw this episode I screamed NO at my tv just because I didn’t want it to end. But This episode just gets better every time I watch it.

2019-03-29 22:11:34 +0000 UTCAnd yes you definitely need to check out Doom Patrol, about half of the episodes are up so far. I can't even describe how silly and ridiculous it is, but it works. The cast does a great job, and the writing and storytelling is quite refreshing for the superhero genre.

Since I knew Trigon was gonna be introduced in the first season, I was sure that story wouldn't get wrapped up in one season. He's too powerful of a villain. I think they did it right, introduce the team, give us hints of Raven's and Trigon's origins, now the table is set for a full season of Trigon. Another thing I enjoyed this season was Dick's character development. I'm pretty confident we'll eventually get the Nightwing we know, but it'll feel more natural seeing him slowly change into that. Just putting on a different suit isn't gonna make him a better person and wash away his demons. Us seeing him naturally grow will make for a more fulfilling ride I think.
