Equal opportunity buttcheeks lol. Two things came to mind when I saw this episode, how badly misplaced it felt, and how much I enjoyed it. It really was a well rounded Hawk and Dove origin in less than 50 minutes. Kinda felt like a back door pilot, much like the Doom Patrol episode. Even with the loose connections to the main plot, this was a stand alone episode. The only reason I can think of the placement, is that they didn't wanna take too much focus away from Dick in the first few episodes. People were tuning in for Robin, and they already had to introduce the rest of the team, plus Hawk and Dove and the Doom Patrol. But it was such a good story they eventually had to fit it somewhere in the season.
