To be honest, I'm more interested in the "Game of Thrones" plotline than the "Night King" one but it was still extremely anticlimactic and disappointing. The white walkers started being built up from season 2 as the final boss and an ultimate threat and in the middle of the final season, the Night King's army gets one shot and sike, Cersei's the final boss.

2019-05-05 12:39:03 +0000 UTCthe battle with knight king was just meeant to be a roadstop on the way for the show. . it was never truly plotline #1. . till the end of season 5 it was a background story so i dont know why people complain that this ended now instead of at the end. . the end was always gunna be the battle for the throne. . the nightking was never gunna be more than bump in the road

2019-05-02 01:38:14 +0000 UTCBased on what they were going for I really liked this episode. Showed how powerful NK and his army were, literally unstoppable unless you get the big boss himself. The fear and sacrifices you have to have in battles, check. Amazing shots, sequences. Character deaths/arcs ending with satisfaction. Tie-ins to former unresolved plotlines, check. I had ideas on how it could have been 'better' and more intriguing but upon reflection after the episode I just had to do discard that because they knew what they wanted and did it awesomely. What would have elevated it to a 10/10 for me was less shots of main characters completely surrounded to next time we visit them with only a few wights and ending with them surrounded again. Incorporate a few more valid tactics to survive a lot of mindless enemies like holding tight positions instead of standing in the middle of the courtyard. And lastly I needed 1-2 main character deaths to solidify how heavy a threat NK was. Brienne, Pod, Tormund, Greyworm, Missandei or Sam, any one or two of them on top would have done it. Still, 9/10 from me.

2019-04-30 03:38:05 +0000 UTCThe best episode of this whole series in my opinion. That was so badass how The Night King caught her. Funny thing is Bran gave Aria the dagger. Melisandre is the true MVP of this episode, Aria wouldn't of killed The Night King without Melisandre hinting it. So well done.
