When she burned the two for not bending the knee, that was pretty insane. Losing her cool and ditching the plan when her Dothraki were killed was insane. Keeping Tyrion on as the Hand when he screwed up so many times was a clear sign of a lack of rational thinking. Her pleas to John to keep quiet spoke clearly about her fears and insecurities and then to be betrayed by him, Sansa, and Tyrion was a huge shove towards the edge. Her first dragon dying hit her so hard, then she has to fight him, that's pretty damn mindscrewing, then she loses another dragon and is inept to retaliate until later, that's awful too. Her brother's treatment of her, etc. Yeah, she was my pick for the villain long, long ago.

2019-05-15 10:10:47 +0000 UTCIs it though? I mean, she's been doing horrific stuff since season 1. Look at how she threatened to destroy Quarth for simply not giving her access to the city. She's always been mad, there was never a point she switched. This was a calculated move to consolidate her power through fear.

2019-05-15 01:01:31 +0000 UTCI've been a big supporter of this season, but the Dany switch just happened too fast for me. They needed to have 10 episodes the last two seasons to fully flush out motivations. This just seemed forced to me, but hopefully others enjoyed it more than i did. And Jamie and Cersei's ending, though poetic, regressed both of their characters unforgivably. Just my opinion. But maybe the final episode will shut us all up and make everything genius!
