I think this episode and the next are my least favorite of the entire show. I kinda hate them actually. Things really picked up in 2x16, we're getting towards the end of the season and then....we get some useless one off episodes again. Enough with the one offs already! Like...why ruin the tension and build up from 2x16 with these one offs. Literally would have preferred these episodes to not exist - even if they weren't replaced with more plot relevant stuff. I would have rated this season higher if it had only 20 episodes without the few more or less useless episodess. Watching 2x16, getting hyped, then waiting one week and....getting this was so disappointing. I remember actually dropping the show for a while after this one and then watched the rest of season 2 in one go when season 3 started to air I actually don't know a single other good show that broke the tension and was deflating towards the last third of the season as badly as this. Found it honestly horrible. I mean...these are literally filler episodes. They built up the tension, brought everything together, introduced a new badass character starting the last third of the season...and then followed it up with filler episodes. jesus christ...

2019-08-24 02:45:06 +0000 UTCI can see why the episodes are split into folders of filler-ish episodes and plot-heavy episodes. In the first 2 seasons of the show there are quite a few one-offs that are like this one, 90% "case of the week" with a bit of plot at the beginning and end. If I remember correctly those basically stop from S3 onward.
