I love season 4 but this season to me, is the best. Love the hr arch and the machine arch.

I love the fact that the show evolves from a case of the week to this huge overarching narrative arch. My favorites are season 3-5 also. But I love 1-2. Just a great show!!

This episode was always an easy return before the complications Finch mentioned. I like season 1, but I love the other 4 seasons.

I am in the camp of liking season 3 -5 generally better than 1-2 which still had some great episodes, despite the average start to S3 for the first few episodes, S3 is my favorite.

When my dad and I both watched this, we basically had the same initial opinion of Root. I love Amy Acker, but in some of S2, she definitely comes like less of a crazy person, and more like an actress playing a crazy person. She definitely grows into the role.

ahhh season 3, my favorite season of the show! Although we'll see if I warm up to season 4 this time around to reign supreme

well of course she thinks the russians are worse. They ARE worse because they are working with HR, and they killed her "boyfriend". Elias doesn't. He broke with HR. So I guess she prefers Elias to them. Doesn't mean she trusts him. I totally get it. Would've done the same thing if I'd have her kind of courage.
And also...isn't it great when someone like Elias ows you. She saved his life just like Reese did back in season 1. And Elias never forgot about it.
I love Carter, she's so commited and loyal, she's a great cop but she's also a great friends who'd hide a dead body for you, without even letting you know. She's honorable, but it doesn't make her stupid (like Ned Stark for instance). It might bother some people but that's who she is and what makes her a great character. And that's why Reese and Finch chose her in the first place 💙
