I agree with you re: Homelander & Becca. Mallory showed Butcher the video of Becca leaving the office but she looks more like someone ashamed of what they just did, and Mallory was perfectly happy to let Butcher believe Homelander did that because it served her purpose of recruiting him. They've already finished (or very nearly have) shooting season 2, so I'm guessing we won't be waiting a whole year for it.
