I knew you’d love episode 20 Jimmy. And yes this episode is often compared visually to Batman the animated series. The production studio Sunrise actually worked on Batman the animated series so it makes sense. Mad Pierrot is inspired by three of Batman’s enemies. The Penguin, The Joker and Tally Man. The Noir themed episodes are always action packed. This one, the Jet episode with his partner and Udai. You’re almost at the end of the show, it’s been a fun ride and ima be sad when it’s over. Remember that there’s a movie that takes place between episode 22 and 23 canonically. But you can always watch and react to it after you finish the series.
