I believed the stakes went too high in the chimera ants arc with the whole "save the world" thing and that it would be hard to be impressed after that, since Animes/mangas are usually linear (antagonists becoming more and more powerful, bigger stakes, save the universe...) But the auhor manages to go back to something "basic" without the feeling of downgrading the series at all, you just can't never expect what's coming next. I hope we'll get some reviews/thoughts as you go further in the manga! Note : the manga is darker and more graphic than the anime
