Major props to Garret Dilahunt, the guy killed in both parts he played. I only figured it out after a while, his voice kept sounding so familiar. And if his death seemed disappointing it made sense to me for the character, and we did get the very satisfying scene where Charlie beats the shit out of him.

2021-02-22 23:41:00 +0000 UTCThey play Wolcotts breakdown pretty subtly throughout s2 after he kills the whores. That's why his suicide feels abrupt. Any other show would've had Charlie or Joanie's attacks on him end it, but in the end Wolcott wasn't even worth vengeance for them, it was his bosses irritation at having some random would be agent of his trying to get one over be the killing blow. Wolcott was so low he wasn't deserving of a confrontational death.
