FULL LENGTH SPARTACUS: GODS OF THE ARENA - Ep 4

Yeah gannius didn’t really do anything before the kiss though, besides look at her suspiciously

Dante1025

Yeah, that's fucked.

David

I love the contrast between Asher this season and the previous. He seems competent in season 1, despite everybody else looking down on him. He's just pathetic in God's of The Arena with only fleeting traces of cunning.

David

Gaia's death didn't bother me, it was really the situation. This man came to their home uninvited and murdered their friend and walked out not expecting them to do anything. That part is what bothered me.

Cadmus Lochlan

that was a lot of awful. a lot. I was uncomfortable so much this episode, from Asher trying to get some recognition, to Ganicus' fight to affair, to main villained showing up with his air of doucheness, to Gaia's death. So much aweful. As far as the affair goes, it is definitely a betrayal. But if you live in a world where you can literally die the next day, I mean, you have to make your choices. He at least understands the consequence of making that choice. And the dad is just....I'm just done with him at this point.

Cadmus Lochlan

what are you talking about? Crixus looks amazing with long hair 😂😍

Meaning he (and the wife) can do w/e they please with whoever they please (Idc) ..just not with each other...that's fucked.

Jimmy Macram

Because they can't execute their plans like Quintus is why I'm critical. The reason they can't is irrelevant...just that they can't so they shouldn't until they can. You've misunderstood on the Gannicus point. Idc about cheating either way. He's trying to get with his friend's wife is why I'm critical.

Jimmy Macram

Usually I get what you mean. But there has been a lot of ambition among the slaves and rebelliousness... the slaves just have it much harder than the one's in power and therefor their plans can't be as perfectly executed as the plans Quintus has. It just something I have noticed since the beginning, that you're way more critical with the slaves. For example...of course I don't support cheating in any way. When Gannicus does it you're annoyed and very critical but not when Lucretia does it with Crixus. When the father tells Quintus what to do you are pissed, when Quintus or in this case Oenomaus tells the slaves what to do then you cheer. It's totally fine, it's just something I have noticed since the very first episode 😉

Ninaofthe90s

Rebelliousness without ambition bothers me. Ambition without a (good) plan bothers me.

Jimmy Macram

One thing I noticed since the beginning of season 1 is that you always side with Batiatus when he's ambitious, rebellious and does things that are above his station. And you hate the father for being submissive. But when the slaves do the same thing you get very easily annoyed with them...no matter if it's Gannicus, Crixus, Spartacus or any other slave. Then you side with Batiatus and basically say they should do as they are told. I don't quite understand that. 🤨

Ninaofthe90s

Ashur's false translations always make me laugh 😂

Ninaofthe90s

Definitely a betrayal of Oenomaus from both of them.

David

Poor Gaia. She will be missed.

David

😕

Can't help your feelings...but you can help what you do about it.

Jimmy Macram

You say you can’t help what you feel and that it was the kiss that was unacceptable but you were calling Gannicus the worst for his feelings before that xD

Dante1025

Gaia 😥😣
