2020-08-02 08:03:16 +0000 UTCWhile Garrett may have been a little over the top, I do think that it was pretty accurate that he would be a pompous jerk like that, especially in his younger years. As commented above, he was played by Bill Paxton's son James. I think there will always be some disconnect when having another actor play the "younger/older version" of a character. I'm very back and forth on Nathaniel as well. Sometimes he seems pretty intimidating, and I like his confidence. Other times, he sounds whiny, and his talk of anarchy always sounds cheesy. It seems like there's a lot to resolve in the final three episodes, but I'll trust the writers to have come up with a satisfying ending.
