2020-12-29 17:39:17 +0000 UTCI actually wondered the same so I did some research and found out they did kiss, Katara’s voice actor Mae Whitman confirmed it in the Book 3 DVD extra.

2020-12-29 16:41:07 +0000 UTCI always took it as they didn't kiss, seeing how Katara was so dismissive of the fact. If they had kissed, as kids they would have reacted differently.

2020-12-28 16:28:30 +0000 UTCI don't think that Aang and Katara did actually kiss in this episode. The crystals lit up before they actually did, but i could be wrong. Someone correct me if i'm wrong.
