New patron so not sure how things work yet. A lot of the things you're picking up on, like the weaker Miami gun thugs and network TV feel is what people are referring to when they say Season 1 just sets the foundations, and is still quality, but has some imperfections. Season 2 is a big step up and one of my favourite seasons. I really can't wait for you to work your way through that one. You'll be loving this show soon enough, im sure.

2020-11-07 00:44:50 +0000 UTCThe writing on this show is just insanely good. Just the way they tie every loose end neatly and somehow work through the various relationships is just phenomenal. Bo's plan was also diabolical and everything just makes sense from the character's perspective. That and you can listen to Walton Goggins just talk for days... the dialogue rivals that of Deadwood and gets better in the subsequent seasons.
