Did it mean more to you after you finished the show? It did for me. The shots, certain (trying not to say anything gives anything up) settings.

2021-08-02 23:08:40 +0000 UTCAs much as I was moved by Jax's pain from the first glimpse of the poison and death around him and the seeds of rage -- this ep meant more to me after the series finale. Especially some of the settings. Like you said, it all feels like a prologue. Not sure if you caught the homeless woman, being same beggar that Gemma met. Who said "Abel" -- Gemma gave her money, she later covers Jax with a blanket. Montagues and Capulets, face off shot was well done. Feels, looking back, the themes are a tee up for the series. . Destiny and choices. Secrets. Obsession, control. . Violence. Death. Consequences. π 201, excited, it's a memorable one.

2021-08-02 23:07:09 +0000 UTCLove this episode, in my top 10 of the series. This finale, and then going into season 2 starts my favorite upswings of the series. Jax is such a drama queen, but he's really coming into his own in this episode. Brains over Bullets. "She looks like she's seen a ghost" you couldn't be more correct. Can't wait for you to get into Season 2. Fingers crossed that drops tonight in the usual time frame.
