Counterpart is a fun one, and not reacted to a lot, also has the great JK Simmons... well saying anything about that would already be a spoiler, but his acting is amazing

Awful people doing awful shit for a crown. Its got a unique tone, shock me if you didn’t enjoy it. So, I vote for it.

For the next short-series poll, I wonder if anyone would be interested in a comedy: Spaced (99-01). It's Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright, before Shaun of the Dead... a kind-of UK Seinfeld/Friends, if you will. edit: It just occurred to me that Yellowstone is Kevin Costner! Dude, he's pretty darn good in it, I think! Also, the actress who plays his daughter is abnormally attractive.

2021-09-04 19:28:15 +0000 UTCCounterpart is two solid seasons and done since the show didn't get renewed and the writers were able to finish the story as is. Sort of like if the expanse had ended at s3. The rest are a lot of time investment aside from Luther which is also short. The others are either still on going or just not as good in terms of quality. Since this is a short series category I'll push hard for counterpart as it's interesting, solid cast and memorable.

2021-09-04 19:21:07 +0000 UTCI've never seen any of these. Saw the first episode of Dark and it didn't grab me but all the buzz about it makes me think I need to give it another try. The Expanse and Black Sails are both shows where I was meh on the pilot first try and then fell in love with the shows on 2nd try, so maybe this is that again. That and Succession are the ones I've heard the most about. How should I vote, people? Also, it's not an option but one day I'm gonna convince a reactor I like to try Raised By Wolves...it's so odd, and flawed but so very itself. Like it's flaws are all interesting flaws lol.
