Interested in Korra, but if I can throw out some anime titles for the future they would be Vinland Saga, Yu YU Hakusho and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. Not sure if you are into mech stuff but you might enjoy Gundam: Iron blooded orphans as well.

Igby

Might as well go with Korra. It's far from perfect, but the characters and world makes it worth it. Lots of great, memorable moments.

Ram

Go with Korra or beserk 2016, fuck it

Light Yagami

Book three of Korra is easily on par with ATLA imo and might be my favorite season of either show.

Drew

Jimmy I know this might be a stretch but just figured I’d throw it out there. A while back you decided to do mob psycho and samurai shampoo at the same time, two episodes each. Since you have a lot going on with the movies each month I’m sure your schedule is stacked, but another two for two would be pretty awesome with a small anime poll? 😁 if not, understandable! Just reaching into the sky for a bit of luck haha

I feel like I need to give Dark another shot. I remember watching the first episode when it came out and not being hooked, but the same thing happened with the first episodes of Black Sails and The Expanse...then I revisited them once they got season 2s and they somehow clicked better on a rewatch and I ended up loving both shows. And I feel like I'm seeing more and more people talk about Dark positively so maybe it's time.

Michael

Damn, thought I would have to come in and plead my case with Korra, but it looks like everyone is in agreement, ha. That said, a question I would like to pose is how “blind” you want to be if you do it. People seem to have a selective memory for how we watched it when it was live; there was a lot of production... “stuff” behind the scenes that we were aware of at the time, which helps contextualize some of the... “stuff” in the first two books (trying to be as vague as possible). All that being said, and however others feel about Korra, I think it’s indisputably worth it for you just for Book 3, which I maintain is on par with anything in this show and arguably has the best villain of this entire franchise.

Ted Cali

Korra is underrated in my opinion. That show is worth it for Season 3 alone!

KapZachlan

Honestly, I was hoping you would be able to squeeze in jujutsu Kaisen after avatar was finished but since Korra is being highly praised I have to accept that loss now.

Dean Cyphers

Reckon it's worth trying out Korra it's is a very fresh change of pace from the first series and gets into a lot of interesting concepts and has some great villains!

Stefanniko

Even tho Korra is obv a great choice for the next show, but I HIGHLY recommend Rick and Morty if you havn't seen it. Show is easily 10/10 and would make for a super fun watch!

Reaction Junkie

I actually think the bending becomes worse in Korra, there are other things it does well, but not the bending. And you can't just say people incorrectly hate just because you like something. Don't dismiss other's thoughts on a show like that.

Cadmus Lochlan

Dark from Netflix, you won't be disappointed

Lens G Sol

Korra is great and it retroactively makes the already great A:tLA even better in the ways the creators tie the 2 series together and explain and solve some prior plot holes or missing info. Also the fight animation and use of bending is taken to the next level. Also JK Simmons is in it. As someone else said, as much as some people incorrectly and unduly hate on Korra, I think Jimmy will like it even more than or at the least as much as A:tLA.

Michael

I've seen a couple reactors I enjoy do the Fate Zero show....I know nothing about it. What's a 1 sentence pitch or what it's deal is? Maybe I should watch it.

Michael

Even though Legend of Korra is a thing. I would say continue the journey. Azula's fall made sense, because its been shown how much she wants control and when that control is lost, we see what happens. Could the fall be a bit better, sure, but for what we got, I loved it.

Cadmus Lochlan

Gonna have to join everyone else in suggesting that Legend of Korra is the obvious next move. It's very different than Avatar, but when it hits its highs, it's right up there with the original.

Tim Itnyre

I vote yes on Korra. The answer to Zukos mom is an entire arc in the avatar comics. It’s called The Search. Sidenote, if you want one on one fights with incredible animation, there is nothing better than Fate Zero.

zebweasel

I feel like most people love it, it's just one of those very vocal minorty situations.

Drew

Also some of the questions left in this episode are answered in the comics

aSackOfReactions

I agree with everyone in the comments. Korra is definitely worth the watch and dont listen to anyone who tries to convince you otherwise.

aSackOfReactions

Despite what it might seem, korra is vastly underrated in the avatar fanbase and I really hope you will watch it.

David

This is one of the best series ever made, animated or otherwise. Really happy you did these reactions. Okay so some people might get upset at me for this, but I honestly think you might enjoy Korra even more. Korra takes the world and expands on it in ways that I almost entirely love, it takes things in a more adult direction, it has fantastic characters, and the animation/music and just overall presentation surpasses ATLA In my opinion. 100% Korra is a must watch if you ask me. You seem to know literally nothing about Korra, which is very good, hopefully no one says anything.

Drew

Everything about Zuko's mother is explained in the comics. Though I strongly agree that you should check out Korra, whilst it's not as good as ATLA - it's still great and has a lot of really strong episodes.

Selin

You gotta watch legend of korra next man it's in the same universe as avatar and is really good but in different ways that avatar
