I like Sheriff Truman's 'The Buck Stopped Here' sign in his office; its a nice reference to his namesake President Harry Truman who kept a sign saying 'The Buck Stops Here' on his desk.
James Hurley singing a love song with his girlfriend Donna and Maddy, who looks exactly like his dead girlfriend; reminds me of the recording of Laura's saying "James is sweet but he's so dumb"

The magic boy, Mrs. Tremond's grandson, was played by David Lynch's son, Austin Lynch - he literally looks like a mini version of his dad lol. I love that scene, it's so unsettling and quintessentially Lynchian.

I can't control my laughter when this scene comes on - it's simultaneously one of the cringiest, most secondhand-embarrassment-inducing and yet absolutely hilarious scenes ever put to film lmao.
Bob continues to be the stuff of nightmares, despite his actor being one of the nicest dudes ever by all accounts, Frank Silva RIP. The moment when he crawls over the sofa straight at the camera was burned into my young brain and never left.

I looooooove the James/Donna/Maddie scene. From start to finish - from the singing to scary guy climbing over the couch - it's my favorite part of the episode, by far. Sublime art.

I'm not sure about the proper words to describe the musical performance of the trio.
I considered "a blend or art and subtle comedy", but your never-before-seen (priceless) facial expression made me confidently settle on "second-hand comedy".
