The writers knew exactly the story they were telling and they did it beautifully. I enjoy Dark, and like I said the creators for sure took some ideas from 12 monkeys for it, but I just enjoy the characters and general tone of 12 Monkeys more. It’s much less depressing lol

I spent 2 hrs in bathroom. 🤦🏼♀️ So, that done (kinda) My biggest question (someone tell me if my interpretation is crazy) is Old Martha’s lair on earth 2, has an Adam and Eve painting and a family “tree” — very creation oriented room. And an infinity inside the tree, which looks like the connection/bridge between the two worlds. Back on earth 1, young Martha already knew about Adam being Jonas. And she slowed down to stare at the floor in the 1800s Sic Mundus lair. They immediately show Old Martha’s liar with the “family” tree in that spot??? Did I get that right anyone? So she knows her Old self obviously? It’s the only place you can get any of this information. So clearly Old Martha is directing something. And has her own thing going. OK that’s all I got. Maybe I’m totally off base but there you go!!

The creators of this show definitely got a lot of their ideas from it, it’s just way less convoluted and much more character driven. It’s up there with Black Sails for me as being 4 perfect seasons of tv.
